Why?

Every parent is familiar with this question. It drives many of our conversations with our kids as they are growing up and exploring the world. This one-word question is perhaps the single most important one for developing our understanding of why things are the way they are. Too often, the only explanation we are provided to that question is "because it's popular," "because it's the law," "because it's always been that way," or perhaps "because you will be punished, canceled, or locked up" if you don't obey.

Human ingenuity, creativity, and prosperity flourish in an environment where individuals are free to ask "why," pursue truth, and make their own decisions. At The Why Minutes, we continue to ask and explore the "Why" behind the issues, philosophies, and actions that shape our world and the way we think about life.

Our objective is to foster freedom of inquiry and to use the stories of the past and present to shed light, not only on what has happened but why.
